Lab activities

I want to share what I have learnt in Topic 1. In topic 1,I learnt the type of computers, fields of information technology and advantages and disadvantages of computer.

For our second assignment,we need to create a brochure based on Topic 1 which is Information Technology. It seemed hard as we had no idea on how to create one. There is an option in Microsoft Word where you just can use the example of a brochure and fill it with whatever information you want to put.

The purpose of doing this is actually to introduce to students who are not taking any computer subjects what computer science really is.

Here is my brochure:

Every week, we have our lab activity for this subject to be done. So for our third assignment,we were being assigned to do chapter 2 at least in three different thinking maps. As you can see in the picture below, there are 8 different thinking maps.

I need to know which thinking map is suitable for my subtopics in chapter 2. I cannot just simply use any thinking map without considering its suitability. For example,I am using double bubble map to differentiate between bit and byte. I
cannot use bridge map because it is not suitable at all. If I am using circle map. I cannot see clearly the differences between them.

I realized that by doing this assignment,I can do my revision in a simpler way. And it is my first time using the ‘Shapes’.

Here is my thinking map:

In order to make my thinking maps look interesting and more attractive,I use different colours and backgrounds.
